Berry Jane™ would like you to be completely satisfied with your purchase! We understand ordering online can be tricky, especially when it comes to purchasing swimwear or activewear.
We offer a 100% guarantee of our quality, handmade apparel, and sustainable standards in which we manufacture. Please read our return policy carefully to ensure a smooth process:
- Received the wrong item? We’ll promptly provide a free replacement if we ship you the wrong item!
- We guarantee our merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects, however, we realize sometimes strange things happen during sewing and processing. If this occurs, we will promptly accept, or replace any defective item for an exchange within 30 days of delivery. Please email us within 2 days of receiving the defective garment with photo(s) or submit your return online with details. We’ll process your replacement free of charge right away.
- If your item doesn’t fit, no problem! Exchanges for the right size(s) are always easy! We are happy to exchange your items for another size.
- Returns (USA) - Berry Jane gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unaltered merchandise purchased online at berryjaneusa.com that shipped to a U.S. address within 30 days from the date your order shipped. Berry Jane offers returns for store credit only (minus original shipping). Store credit is issued instantly once your return is received, inspected and approved.

Berry Jane is a sustainable apparel company, and 90% of our garments are made per customer order to reduce waste, overproduction and promote eco-friendly practices. While we do keep some stock, most items are crafted upon purchase to offer a wider variety of styles, prints, and sizes. Because of the nature of how we manufacture, we are unable to offer refunds, but we do offer exchanges and store credit.
Refunds & Exchanges:
We happily accept exchanges only on *qualifying merchandise within 30 days. Please Submit your Return for an Authorization (RMA#). Exchanges must be received no later than 8 days from authorization and must be returned to our authorized return address. Sale and Outlet items are final sale and cannot be returned for store credit or exchange.
U.S. Returns Policies:
- We gladly accept returns for store credit only on *qualifying merchandise within 30 days of your purchase.
- Buyer is responsible for the return shipping label fee.
- To avoid extra shipping costs, we recommend returning the item in its original packaging and to our authorized shipping address.
- Please do not ship in boxes or oversized packages.
*QUALIFYING MERCHANDISE AND REQUIREMENTS FOR RETURNS & EXCHANGES:
- Item is unwashed, unworn and in pristine (original) condition.
- No deodorant marks, perfumes, wear, or stains present - Items received damaged may be rejected
- No damage, pulled/snapped threads, fabric pilling or holes, or ripped seams.
- All tags still attached to the garment, or in original packaging.
- Swimwear in pristine condition, unworn with original tags / hygienic liner attached or in original factory sealed packaging.
- Item(s) are not a 15%+ discount, Sale, Outlet, Clearance or Final Sale
- For hygienic reasons: Cheeky bikinis, tanga or thong bikini sets, hats, towels, face coverings are non-returnable. These bikini bottoms arrive in a sealed polybag directly from our sewing team and do not have tags or a sanitary liner. This is standard for our production process, as our swimwear is made to order in a clean, controlled environment. For hygienic reasons, we do not accept returns or resell this style once it has left our facility.
- His and hers matching swimsuits, family and/or holiday clothing or pajamas; custom lettering or monogrammed purchases are considered final sale and not eligible for a return or exchange.
- Shoes, Coats, Jackets and bags are not stocked and are custom made items and therefore cannot be returned or exchanged
- International orders are not eligible for exchanges, but we gladly offer store credit or refund for qualified returns.
- Items purchased with store-issued credit are considered final sale and not eligible for return or further store credit.
About Our Refunds Policies:
Due to the highly sustainable and personalized nature of our manufacturing process with custom printing, cutting and sewing of 90% of our garments, returns for refunds will be issued in store credit only, minus any applicable shipping fees.
We are a small, family-owned business with lean manufacturing practices. We are deeply rooted in sustainable business and manufacturing practices and 90% of our garments are printed, cut and sewn when an order is placed. This helps us keep a low carbon footprint while offering a wide variety of styles, prints and sizes.
Return Authorization (RMA#):
- Do not return your order without obtaining an authorization RMA# or return authorization; otherwise, your return will not be processed and is subject to be returned to you.
- We follow a streamlined process in our system that requires your RMA# for efficient and organized handling of orders, returns, and exchanges.
Shipping Instructions:
(US orders) Do not ship your order back to our fulfillment center; doing so may result in loss, damage, or theft, and we may not be able to retrieve your order for processing. If you are exchanging your item(s) you will be given a return label with the appropriate return shipping address on it.
SHIPPING, RETURNS & ORDER POLICY FAQS
WRONG COLOR
Please note that various devices may have different display settings, which can result in slight variations in color representation. Therefore, we kindly request your understanding that we cannot accept returns solely based on perceived color differences unless you have received the wrong style or color-way. We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and images to ensure a satisfying shopping experience.
TIME-SENSITIVE ORDERS
Orders placed for events, travel vacations, weddings, and holiday gifts should be placed 2-3 weeks in advance to ensure timely delivery. We are not responsible for items that are not received in time. Returns cannot be made for items not received in time. Items that are marked as refused and/or return to sender without prior authorization will incur a 50% restocking fee.
SIZING ISSUES
Please check your size before ordering and check your order for accuracy before submitting payment. We've done our best to provide very detailed fit guides and size measurements for all Berry Jane products and our sizing is accurate to our product line. We suggest using the guides and measuring yourself with a measuring tape or ordering a sale item where available.
If you aren't sure of sizing or a style, please contact us or consider purchasing an item from our Sale page. We are always happy to help!
SHIPPING ISSUES, LOST PACKAGES, DAMAGES WITH CARRIER
If your item arrives damaged from the shipping process, please contact us: hello@berryjaneusa.com
We will need pictures of the damaged product and the box or packaging. Please keep the package and product as the carrier will need to inspect them.
Please check the estimated shipping times on each product to ensure your order reaches you in time for any travel or holidays. If you aren't sure, shop early or send us an email to inquire about estimated shipping and delivery times. Some seasons are busier than others and we may be experiencing later ship times than usual.
DHL and/or USPS may also be experiencing delays. We aren't responsible for in-transit shipping delays. Order cancelations due to shipping time are treated as refused returns and will incur a 50% restocking fee + associated shipping fees.
We are pleased to offer free standard shipping on all orders over $150 within the United States. In most cases, free shipping may be automatically taken at checkout without a code.
Please note that free shipping is only applicable for standard USPS shipping and does not apply to expedited orders or international orders.
LOST PACKAGES
We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages from the mail. Please check your tracking number and confirm receipt of the items. DHL works with USPS and hands packages off frequently and many tracking numbers will require an additional 24 hours to be confirmed in the system. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, CUSTOMS, DUTIES AND IMPORT TAXES
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Berry Jane will not be responsible for delays due to customs. We are unable to offer replacements or exchanges for Mexico, Canada or International orders for items that are not deemed manufacturer's damage.
Duties, taxes and other fees are determined by the customs agency at the destination and are the responsibility of the recipient. These fees will be due at the time of delivery and are non-refundable. If the recipient fails to pay applicable duties and taxes, the package will be considered abandoned. Berry Jane is not responsible if customer fails to do their due diligence prior to placing their order. International orders, please contact us at: hello@berryjaneusa.com
WARDROBING, FRAUD, BRACKETING, TRY-ONS
Berry Jane lawfully reserves the right at our discretion to deny any orders or refunds that appear suspicious or unusual, i.e. Excessive returns or exchanges, fraudulent or friendly fraud, bracketing, try-ons, or wardrobing. We intentionally make each garment from scratch for our customers to avoid overproduction. When multiple items are purchased to try on, we incur those costs and create a larger environmental impact. Please consider this before purchasing.
Berry Jane™ reserves the right to refuse service, credit, and exchanges to anyone who, in our opinion makes excessive or arbitrary returns and exchanges. A kind reminder that we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is rude or unkind to our team. We have the right to lawfully pursue any threats, and review extortion or cyberbullying.
CHANGES WITH YOUR ORDER, CANCELATIONS
Once an order is placed, you may have up to 2 hours to make changes! Please send us an email as soon as you notice a mistake in your order. Changes in your mailing address can be changed before items ship. Please notify us as soon as possible so we can make any needed corrections. We cannot be responsible for shipping to the wrong address as stated on your order or for items ordered that were input incorrectly.
Order cancelations will incur a 50% restocking fee + associated shipping fees. Custom orders cannot be canceled. Please check the estimated shipping times on each product or email us to ensure your order reaches you in time for any travel or holidays. If you aren't sure, shop early or send us an email.
ORDERS $350+
Due to the handmade, made-to-order nature of how we manufacture, and the increasing number of return and bracketing abuse, all orders $350 or more will require approval for any exchanges or returns. We will longer accept cancellations for orders over $500.
Bulk and Wholesale orders are non-refundable.
Items are made to order, (which we state clearly in our Product pages, FAQs, About and Policies pages) When you place a large order with us, we are utilizing our resources - not pulling from stock to fulfill your order. i.e. We are printing, cutting and sewing the garment for your order, and trusting you have done your due diligence regarding size and ship times, and intention to follow through with your order. We kindly ask that you consider this before making purchase with multiple sizes of the same style.
