I am between sizes, what size should I order?
If you are between sizes, we recommend ordering up for better comfort. If you prefer a tighter fit on rash guards or leggings, however, size down. Please refer to our detailed Size Guide page, or reference the Size Chart on each product listing page.

Do you accept returns for tried-on swimwear?
For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns for swimwear that has been opened from its hygienic packaging, worn or tried on.
What about returns for rash guards or leggings? Can I order several rash guards/leggings to try on, and return the ones I don't like?
Our items are not massed produced the way much larger companies are. We don't stock large quantities of products, we make each product to order when a customer places their order. That means, when you order 5 garments, we cut and sew those 5 garments for you, specifically. We pay the costs to produce that garment for you and ship it to you. When you return items that don't work out, it creates an environmental impact.
We are devoted to providing ethically manufactured "slow fashion" apparel to our customers that are as eco-friendly as possible.
We understand that when it comes to purchasing clothing items online, sizing can be a difficult decision to make. That is why we provide detailed descriptions and measurements for each of our products so that you can buy the item best suited for your body type. When in doubt, please call or email us for clarification - we're always happy to help! We also recommend using a tape measure and measuring yourself using the handy charts on our Size Guide page.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of all fabrics used for our swimwear and activewear clothing items and for hygiene reasons, we cannot offer returns on any swimwear items due to incorrect sizing or fit. The same policy also applies to all other types of clothing items. This is because the production of these items requires multiple stages in order to create the finished product, which includes fabric printing, cutting, sewing and trimming operations. When returns are requested outside of defect cases, opened packages/tried-on or worn apparel must go through a hygienic reworking process before they can be re-sold as used. This has significant environmental impacts from additional labor, water and energy usage during the refreshing process as well as additional transport costs for both directions.
As a conscious fashion business striving towards sustainability goals, we strive to limit these unnecessary returns by providing accurate information about sizing and fit on our website prior to purchase so that customers know what they’re buying before they commit to their purchase. By avoiding the amount of overproduction and waste caused by incorrect sizing, this will help us ensure that we are creating better products with less environmental impact while keeping prices competitive at the same time.
We do work with our customers as often as possible on returns and exchanges, and we do allow some concessions for returns. As we grow, our return policies will change and become more flexible. But for now, this is just where we are.
I ordered the wrong size, can I return it?
Our priority is to make sure you are happy with your purchase, but since we work within a sustainable business model where every garment is made to order, we do have some limitations. Please keep this in mind when ordering and see our returns and exchanges policy page for details
How long does shipping take?
All orders are made for you! Because we are a sustainable manufacturing company, some orders may take up to 8 business days for cutting, sewing and shipping time, depending on where you live. We will send you a notification with tracking info when your order ships to keep you in the loop.
Our fulfillment time is calculated in business days, and is typically 2–5 business days. 97.66% of our orders are shipped within 5 business days. More than 50% of our orders are shipped within 3 business days or fewer.
Please note: Fulfillment time doesn't include shipping. To get an idea of how long an order will take to reach its destination, combine the estimated fulfillment time with the estimated shipping time. Our fulfillment times are an estimate, but not a guarantee. If you are concerned about receiving an order in time for gift giving, we recommend ordering early.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is ready to go, we hand it over to the carrier and send you a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can click on that number to see the latest updates on your shipment’s location via your tracking page.
What are the best washing and care methods for your swimwear?
Our apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. You shouldn't use any fabric softeners or dry-clean the items. Line or hang dry is recommended but you can tumble-dry on a low cycle. Use a cool iron inside-out.
Follow these instructions carefully to avoid fading, damaging or shrinking the garment.
Where are your products manufactured?
90% of our garments are proudly made in America! Our cut and sewn apparel is made in Charlotte, NC, Texas, Baltimore, MD and Tijuana, MX, while our active sportswear and fashion swimwear is made in small quantities in HK China.
How are you sustainable?
Our garments are made to order or in limited qty. to minimize environmental impact and reduce waste. Fabric used for our clothing is sourced from local suppliers, who use eco-friendly fabric inks, materials and practices that minimize waste and pollution. To ensure sustainability and ethical production, we only work with certified factories who are committed to fair wages and safe working conditions for the people who make our clothes. Additionally, the packaging we use for transportation and shipping is made from recyclable polybags. Fulfillment for Australia, UK and European countries are handled locally to reduce our carbon footprint in shipping.
Do your swim leggings, swimwear and rash guards provide UPF protection?
Yes, our rash guards, swimsuits and swim leggings provide UPF 50+ protection.
Our dark and/or bright color styles keep UV rays from reaching your skin by absorbing them rather than allowing them to penetrate. The shiny polyesters in our fabrics are highly protective because they reflect radiation.
What does 'UPF' mean?
Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) indicates how much UV radiation (both UVB and UVA) a fabric allows to reach your skin. For example, a UPF 50 fabric blocks 98 percent of the sun’s rays and allows two percent (1/50th) to penetrate, thus reducing your exposure risk significantly.
What's the Difference Between UPF and SPF?
UPF measures the amount of UV radiation that can penetrate fabric and reach your skin. Sun Protection Factor, or SPF, is based on the time it takes for UV-exposed skin to redden; if you burn after 20 minutes, if used correctly, an SPF 15 sunscreen may protect your skin 15 times longer. UPF measures both UVB and UVA rays, while SPF measures only UVB.
Are your swim leggings, rash guards and swimsuits chlorine-resistant and saltwater resistant?
Yes, our leggings, sports bras, and swimsuits are salt water and chlorine-resistant.
Are your swimwear prints fade-resistant?
If washed per our care instructions, the print should not fade. But with all dyes, nothing is 100% fade-free. Take care to not leave in the sun or use chlorine bleach when washing.
Are your fabric dyes and inks safe?
Yes! We use Kornit water-based and NeoPigment inks that are Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on children’s clothing (and reduce environmental waste!) These inks provide a high washing colorfast AATCC rating of 4.
The test used to measure colorfastness to light is AATCC 16 option 1 or 3. “The AATCC 16 Option 1 and 3 are test methods of the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC). After the exposure the difference in color between the exposed and protected parts of the fabric are compared to the AATCC gray scale and the degree of fading is rated.”
Grade 5 = no fading
Grade 4 = slight fading
Grade 1 = high degree of fading
For our sublimation products, we use Mimaki Dye Sublimation Ink Sb411 and Sawgrass SubliJet HD ink for sublimation products. Both of these inks are Oeko-Tex™ certified.
Do you use eco-friendly or recycled fabrics?
Whenever possible, we use recycled polyester fabrics, organic and eco-friendly fabrics.
What is recycled polyester?
Recycled polyester (rPET for short) is a fabric that’s produced from synthetic fibers. Recycled polyester is produced by recycling existing materials (like plastic bottles and packaging) but still has all the characteristics and performance as a regular polyester, making it a more sustainable fabric alternative.
How is recycled polyester made?
Recycled polyester is made by crushing plastic products into small pieces. These small pieces are then processed into yarn, transformed into a fiber, and then made into a fabric.
What are the advantages of recycled polyester?
Producing rPet takes 33% to 53% less energy than creating polyester from scratch. Also, rPet produces approximately 54.6% fewer CO2 emissions to the air than virgin polyester. By using recycled materials to make some of our swimwear, less plastic waste doesn’t end up in landfills.
Do you use recycled packaging?
Yes. We use packaging made of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics. PCR plastics are made from items people recycle every day, like plastic bags and bottles.
